During the holiday season, I find myself sprinkling freshly cut Christmas tree twigs all through out my home. Every year we put up a fake Christmas tree, so adding fresh cut twigs all over brings in that festive smell that you would normally get with a live tree. I guess one could say I go "dumpster diving" through the Christmas tree remnants at my local Home Depot...it's free and they are very happy to see someone else take away their work. Clip the branches and place in small containers filled with water for an instant cozy corner anywhere in your home.

It's easy and it's free! Have fun! xo
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this idea! We have an artificial tree because of our 2 cats, but I never really thought of just putting sprigs of greenery throughout the house. Yay! I am so going to do this!
