The Most Effortless Trend Of The Season

Romper: Peter Som for Kohl's // Sandals: Sam & Libby for Target // Bag: Tory Burch // Jewelry: Michael Kors watch, David Yurman cuff, C.Wonder bracelets

I’d say the romper is a true example of what summer should be like ~ easy breezy!  It is a perfect staple to get you through summer.

As a little girl, I would wear terry cloth rompers almost everyday during summer.  My favorite was a purple strapless romper that my mom bought for me at Walmart.  Although my style has evolved quite a bit since then, I secretly enjoy feeling like that carefree happy little girl when I slip on my adult onesie romper.

  3. Very nicely styled, this is a very grown up romper (or 'playsuit' as we say in the UK!), I am always worried about them being a bit young but this one is SUPER!! P x

  11. I love rompers and this one is a great print. I still have a terry cloth one that I wear over my bathing suits. This is a classic style and you wear it well.

  14. So cute, these little dudes. They do pretty much style themselves, don't they. You look effortlessly beautiful, and should be so pleased with yourself! I no longer show that much of my stumpy legs, but I am looking for the romper's longer cousin, the jump suit. There are lots around, just haven't found the one for me. Hope whatever I find works as well for me!

  15. Hi Jan! Thanks for your kind words! I can't wait to see what jumpsuit you end up finding! I love both looks, but haven't found the right jumpsuit either. I have short legs so rompers work well for me, where the jumpsuits are so lonnng, just like all the maxi dresses I try on! I'll wait for you to take the lead on that one!!! Thanks for stopping by! xo

  16. It's a given I'll have to make alterations. I don't think I've had a pair of trousers, pants, jeans ... anything with legs ... in the last 60 something years that haven't had to be shortened. No, wait! I haven't had to alter tights. But that's it.
That, in fact, has been part of the problem finding a great jumpsuit. So often, the pattern on the print gets all artsy at the factory hem. Arrgh.
    I persevere. Stay tuned.
