Home Tour: My Living Room

Our living room is my favorite room in our home. It's where B and I spend most of our time together sipping our morning coffee, reading and watching TV.  I believe that your home should reflect your personality and you should surround yourself with things that make you happy.

To keep the room uncluttered, I keep the color scheme cohesive throughout. Book shelves are a great way to bring your personality into your home by displaying your personal collections, photos and books. Greenery and fresh flowers adds life to any room. I recently added a vintage typewriter to my collection of "insane things that I am obsessed with" and If you look again, you will also find a tiny vintage camera on my shelf.  

My Favorite places for inspiration are Pottery Barn, West Elm, Target and Homegoods.

Glam Your Pumpkin...

Fall is my favorite time of year.  Since Pumpkins are everywhere, here are a few ideas to turn simple squash into elegant decorations for your home that you can re-use all season long.  Studded, Ombre, Glitter and Gilded Pumpkins are just a few DIY creations that I found online...
