Our first weekend of November brought us really chilly temps and a glimpse of what our second winter in Atlanta might be like. Cold. This is my absolute favorite season! Winter always brings back memories of being a kid and playing in the snow endlessly for hours, with not a worry in the world. I don't remember ever complaining that it was too cold to go outside and play. My mom would just bundle us up until we couldn't move our arms like the little boy in the Christmas Story movie.
The kid inside of me still loves to play outside in the cold. This weekend was perfect for exploring the city with my hubby. B and I went to a grand opening of a huge outdoor shopping mall, we dined in several charming eateries and went to a local art festival where we found some pretty things for our new home.
I can't tell you how many times I was complimented on my coat. What is it about leopard print that we just can't seem to resist? The sweetest compliment came from an artist at the art festival when he told my husband that I make it all worth it because I looked so nice. Needless to say, we went home with one of his paintings.
Thanks so much for reading!
