I think I am safe to say that Mother Nature just hates us all. She has pushed us through the polar vortex, supplied us with plenty of snow and rain, and messed with us this past week with sunshine andwarm hot weather.
As I was taking these photos, a gust of wind came out of nowhere, giving me special effects of "my hair blowing in the wind". It was not as romantic as it sounds. Gingham print reminds me of a sunny picnic at the park, so I wore this skirt thinking it's May and the weather should be perfect for it.
Apparently, May doesn't mean anything to Mother Nature as she rained on my parade.
Thanks so much for reading!

Monica! Thank you for your supportive comments today. Chemo was grueling today. Took forever! My nurse was bopping between four patients and too of them were severely needing her attention (leukemia and the other was brain cancer and didn't know the other one) But HM and I brought our DVDs and watched funny movies that help pass the time. My hubby was with me the entire time, the sweetheart. We were horribly tired when we got home and I was in tears, (just the emotions of the pain gets to me)
ReplyDeleteDON'T EVER GET ANY KIND OF CANCER OK? OK.
But now I am up and awake because I had to force myself awake to take my anti-swelling pills. So now those wake me up even more for about 3 hours, then they drop me like a rock! So then I'll head back to bed til morning.
Nuff bout me, This ensemble is so refreshing to see after so many in the east have dealt with your horrid winter conditions this year. Your choice of shoes/heels are perfect. I am loving navy and nude heels so much this season. And all of your gold accessories are DIVINE! Thank you for your fun and encouraging comments and for your fun personality here at "Fashion item Friday" ! We are so glad you joined.
♥, Renae
