Easy Breezy

Loft Maxi dress, on sale right now! //  Loft Denim Jacket, also on sale now! // Converse Shoes

While running errands in this outfit, I was asked by a salesman if the thing to do now is to wear Converse with a dress... ummmm, really? I was thinking this look is so yesterday. I politely replied that Chuck Taylor's are cool with pretty much anything in my book.  But, I found it a little odd that a salesman would make a comment about my outfit, and not in a good way like "you look nice" or "pretty dress".  The fact that he actually questioned my outfit choice made me wonder if I looked silly.  Well...that thought lasted about 2 minutes before I realized this is who I am, it's my personal style and if this person doesn't get it, it's okay with me. Everyone style is different and this makes our world a more interesting place.

I'm sure his comment was mean as an ice breaker, although it was a little awkward. How do you feel about this look?

Here are more of my favorite maxi dresses, some are  40% off at the Loft right now!

Hope you all have a fantastic weekend! Thank you so much for stopping by! :)

Linking up today with these fabulous ladies.

  4. You should tell that salesman that you're a fashion blogger and on the cusp of new trends! Does he read 100 blogs a day? I think not. jodie

  5. That's so funny that you did this post. Just this week I wore chucks with a maxi skirt and I had a boy in my class tell me it was such a fashion don't! Argh! Ha! Anyway, I love this look … on me and on you! Yay us!
