ATL Locals: Vintage Shopping in Little 5 Points

Bill and I love exploring Atlanta's dining and shopping districts.  Each neighborhood is filled with history, charm and personality.  Recently, we ventured out to explore a funky alternative neighborhood known as Little Five Points, earning it's name from the location where five main MARTA lines come together.  While Little Five Points is not normally known as a "stay overnight" location, there sure is enough dining and vintage shopping to keep you entertained.  Enter the Clothing Warehouse...a well organized and color coordinated boutique filled with vintage threads and cowboy boots for men and women. This is a vintage lover's dream.

They do not have cheap thrift store prices, but you can appreciate the quality and the uniqueness of their clothes.  My hubby found a vintage Levi's denim jacket barely worn for about $35. I was torn with so many choices, but in the end I took home a pair of boyfriend overalls, a navy jumpsuit, a bag and a scarf.  Below is a peek from future posts with more pics to follow soon.

Wearing my vintage overalls // Loft top //  9th & Elm Hippie Fringe Bag c/o, more pics coming soon // Warby Parker Sunnies // C.Wonder bracelets

A leather clutch bag was $5 from a thrift store nearby // C.Wonder bracelets // J.Crew Chambray // eShakti polka dot skirt c/o

Wearing: Vintage jumpsuit // Loft belt // Zara clutch bag, not sold online, but love this one  // Jessica Simpson shoes Tj Maxx, similar // C.Wonder bracelets

A vintage ladies jumpsuit, minus the shoulder pads was my favorite find of the day.

We celebrated our vintage finds with gigantic burgers from  the Vortex restaurant, which ranked 30th among 101 Best Burgers in America and it just happens to be located right next door to the Clothing Warehouse.

So, I'm thinking Bill and I have become quite the hipsters after eating and shopping at Little Five Points. Not sure if I can handle another burger named the triple bypass, but the Clothing Warehouse is definitely a place worth going back to.

BTW, check out more ATL locals here.

Thanks so much for reading!

  12. I would buy a plane ticket just to visit that vintage shop. Wow, what a collection of items. I am a great lover of vintage shopping. If you have patience in navigating through the stuff, you can find some incredible pieces. I also found my 90s Gap overalls at a local vintage shop. Got them for $15!!
