The Art of Casual

Anyone can get dressed up and be glamorous, but it is how people get dressed on their days off that are the most intriguing. - Alexander Wang

Chambray Shirt: Francesca's, similar one  // Shorts: Loft, similar  // Sandals: Jack Rogers // Bag: Old Navy // Necklace: J.Crew // Watch: Fossil // Bracelet: Alex & Ani // Ring: Dixie Monogram // Essie Nail Color: Playground // Sunnies: Target

Am I the only one that ends up with a pile of clothes on the floor when trying to pull together a perfect casual look? Since I've started blogging, I find tons of great inspiration from fellow bloggers.  But personally, I still find that pulling together a perfect outfit starting with the top and which bottom will go with what shoes and finding the right accessories is really just a work of art.  Some girls make it look so easy and always look so pulled together, how do they do it?

So, I asked Rebecca, my sweet and gorgeous future daughter in-law, if I could take photos of her perfect ensemble for my blog.  Okay, not exactly, I just started snapping these photos of Rebecca as if I were the celebrity obsessed, obnoxious paparazzi following her.  Rebecca is a master when it comes to pulling together an outfit.  From her chambray top, down to her metallic silver Jack Rogers, she always looks adorable and so pulled together.

Oh gosh... I hope Rebecca will still want to marry into my family.  Nothing like a fashion obsessed blogger/mother in-law following you around with a huge camera.

Thanks so much for reading!
